My artistic journey began in childhood as I grew up with either a camera or sketchpad in my hand. Earning a graduate degree in psychology deepened my appreciation for introspection, discovery, and the healing power of creative expression. These insights helped shape my evolution into a dedicated visual artist and passionate advocate for the arts in coastal Delaware.
After retiring from a 37-year career as a school psychologist, I committed myself fully to expanding my artistic practice. I am a self-taught painter and photographer, continually refining my skills through workshops, mentorships, and active community engagement. My work—primarily watercolor paintings and fine art photography—has been exhibited in juried shows across Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic region.
